Laser therapy is a scientifically proven and FDA-cleared modality that is used for both humans and animals. It is used to reduce inflammation and pain by stimulating cellular activity. Laser therapy is effective in treating acute pain, chronic conditions and post operative pain.
A session can be anywhere from 5-10 minutes in length and is pain and anesthetic free! Typically patients exhibit improvement and/or healing after 3-5 sessions. Despite short treatment times, laser therapy initiates the bodies healing process that continues to actively reduce inflammation for up to 24 hours after treatment.
With the addition of our new Companion Animal Laser to our clinic, we now have one more modality to add to your pets pain management regime post operatively. Each animal that undergoes surgery receives laser therapy to reduce pain and inflammation as well as healing time!
Laser therapy is used for many acute and chronic conditions such as:
- arthritis
- allergies
- tendonitis
- otitis
- sprains and strains
- dental extractions
- fractures
- periodontal disease
- degenerative joint disease
- lick granulomas
- feline acne

- urinary tract inflammation/infection
